Evaluating Websites:
How do we know a website is good for our research?
Examine each of the websites below and decide whether or not they are reliable and trustworthy. While you are deciding, think about these questions:
- Who made this website? What reasons do I have to trust them?
- Does the information on this website match information I already know about this topic?
- Why was this website created? Was it made to inform, to persuade, or to sell?
- How old is the information? Is it up-to-date?
- Once you have examined each website cast your vote in the Google form.
